*Everything's Changed*

Well to sum up everything that has been going on..Read below! :)

So we moved back to Texas, in the end of December I believe it was. When we got here, a day before our anniversary, on January 24 my husband filed for divorce. We were split up for a little bit, and when he left, I started to pray.

I felt lost, I felt defeated. I felt as if I had no other way to go. I cried, I prayed, and the cycle went on and on. Around February 12 or so, my husband came home. He decided he didn't want to be without me anymore. I agreed.

We have been going strong now every day since. Things are not easy, but things are not so hard as they were before. We have both gotten jobs, and are realizing that our marriage is a partnership. I am Scott's bride, as is the church to our Lord. It may have taken him leaving me to realize that fact, and me to realize it also, because I was not by any means innocent.

I love my life now, I love my husband, my job, my family (including my husbands family), my life. I'm happy to serve God, I am happy to serve my husband as I should. It's not a piece of cake, but I know we can get through so much more together, than apart.

There was a new addition to our family, my sister Brandi, finally had a baby girl named Tynsley. She is so adorable, and hate that she doesn't live closer, but things happen for a reason.

Onto better and bigger things! Sorry I haven't written in so long, but when life takes charge, there isn't much else to do. I have enjoyed spending time with all of you, and cant wait to keep in touch with you all in the near future!

How have you all been doing!? I hope you all are not too upset with me by leaving you just hangin there wondering where I went!! Lol.  Leave me some feedback if you wish! I will get back with you as soon as I can!! :)

Love,
Daisy

Nothing much happening here!

Sorry for being a little late on my blog folks. Not much really happening, except the vacation from Texas left us completely broke. I never knew how addicted I was to my cell phone until I didn't have one anymore! LOL. We are not really doing anything new around our household. I put up our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving, we have been house hunting. That isnt going well at all. Scott still hates his job, and he wants to do reserves now instead of the Active Duty again. Which is fine with me, because I want to finish school! We are having a few difficulties with everything here in the Mile High city. Our rent is so expensive here, and we are broke & lonely. Well I'm lonely. Lol. Scott works too much to be lonely. We actually argue most of the time because he is at work most of the time! How ironic huh?

Well, the other night we were discussing what decisions needed to be made to get us out of this financial slump. We all have them sometime. The only thing we could come up with was going back to Texas. Funny thing about that is, I will NOT go back to our home town. There really is nothing there, and I can't go to school there unless they do a complete crazy amounts of paperwork to get me to a different school, rather than just transferring me to the same college just a different location. Not to mention Scott's job is actually there too. So the main problem is Scott asking to get transferred to the Texas location of his employer. Will he do that, who knows. Probably not. LOL. He hates his job, and he hates being broke, but he doesn't want to stay at the same place of employment just to get his foot in the door in a different city, then when things settle down, and my job transfers me, then he can get a different job. Will he do that, maybe. I just have to seriously sit him down, and talk to him like a child, and literally spell everything out for him. Sometimes I hate that, he is older than I am. But that is why we have marriage isn't it! LOL.

I'm guessing we will hopefully be moved soon. Can't really tell our families too much cause they are mostly all haters. No offense to those who aren't. We are young and we just haven't found our "nitch" yet as they say. Oh well though. Life goes on, and so does everyone else. Sorry for just rambling on and on. I really don't know what else to say. Other than the fact that, this blows. LOL. On the upside, you can get a much better looking house in Texas for what we got approved for here in Denver. Hahaha. It's all banking on my husband's job. As usual. We are definitely not moving before he gets a job, or gets approval from his current job!! We have tried that before and failed dramatically! Im just tired of moving for the most part. I just want to find that damn nitch!

Well friends, I am going to let you go about your business, and I am going to move on with my day. Although there may not be much happening, there is still much to do. So take care, and God Bless!

Love Always,
D

The Whole Shebang..

So the last time I wrote you guys, I was waiting to hear back from the manager at Bath & Body Works, to see if I got the job I interviewed for that Friday morning. Well I have so much good news, it almost scares me to let you all know that I got the job! I was called Saturday, and asked to start Tuesday. So that's what happened. I have been working everyday but Wednesday of this week! I'm so tired! Its so much different than cleaning house all day, and the house being your only job.

Now I have 2 jobs, being a sales associate, and a wife. Not to mention being a student! My goodness, I'm just wondering what is next! My husband is still trying to get in the military full time, again. We didn't know that taking a vacation to see our family every few months would hurt us financially, which is crazy that it did! We were so blown away by the toll it has taken. Which is also why I am so blessed to have this job. That makes it a little better to handle. God always helps us out of our hard times, and we just keep our heads up and remember that God never gives you anything that you cant handle! :)

On another note, Christmas is right around the corner! I know most of us are super excited! Others, like my husband, not so much! LOL. Although I can say that his lack of Christmas spirit hasn't affected his ability to give a good gift! In my case, a dreamy gift! I used to tell him my dreams as a young girl, and believe it or not, before I got married, I was just a small town girl who wanted to do so many things with her life, but just never knew how! Well, now it isn't the case obviously. But, anyways. The great gift my husband got me, the car of my dreams. He seriously surprised the heck out of me. I have wanted a mustang for years, and boy do I mean years. Since wayyyyy before Scott and I got married. I used to look at them and be like, yep. I will definitely have me one of them things, hopefully before the good Lord takes me! Well, sure enough. Over the weekend, my husband surprised me with a 2010 Silver Mustang, Convertible. Yep.
I have no words to describe how I felt when I got to drive it for the first time. The roar of the engine when you first turn the key, I call it love. I'm a serious car gal, thanks to my daddy. I fall in love with classic muscle cars, and trucks. I have a soft spot in my heart for them! They have so much of a story, and when they are redone, it looks as if they are alive again. So right now, even though it isn't a classic muscle car, it is my baby. I don't know the name of it yet, but once I get a name, I will NEVER give it up, if I can help it, that is.  As for Christmas, I have always loved Christmas. The lights, the decor, the music, the story of what Christmas is really about. The birth of our Lord and savior for those that don't know. What my husband did this Christmas seriously makes up for all of the things that haven't gone right for about 4 years now!

Like I have mentioned before, my husband is a wonderful man. Not just because he gives me almost anything my heart desires, it's because he cares. He shows me that he cares enough about my wants and needs, that he is willing to sacrifice his wants. We aren't by any means ready to buy a home yet though, it was in the cards within the next year, now not so much. Not because of the Mustang, but because of the Military thing, and because we aren't ready. A home is a BIG deal. We just aren't sure if we want that kind of commitment. Our rent is super expensive, but if everything works out the way we are hoping, we will have no problems with waiting for a home of our own. Never know, we may settle down in north Texas. Just never know. Only God does.

Well friends, today is the only day I am off all week, so I have bunches of business to take care of. I will return in a week or so, if possible. I hope you all have a blessed day, and treat others the way you wish to be treated because EVERYONE is going through some kind of battle. God bless you all and Happy Holidays!

Bath & Body Adventure

Hello Friends! Sorry I havent been posting too much lately! Alot is STILL going on here at the Heab's household.

I have been sooooo sick the past few days like hospital sick! I mean to tell you I have felt like nothing more than Poo!! Well yesterday I was still feeling like crap but I had a job interview to go to, I sucked it up, and I am glad I did. I dont remember if I said anything in the past blogs about how this particular fantastic thing happen to me, but I'll tell you again even if I did.

So before we went to Tx, I went to Bath & Body Works, I LOVE that store!!! I could spend an easy $100 in no time!! Anyway, I went in there to get some Christmas smelling candles, and as I was checking out the cashier had on a beautiful pearl necklace, and I told her it was pretty and I liked it. Then I asked if they were hiring (I honestly had no intentions of getting a job yet, I don't even know my school schedule yet!), she told me take the application and fill it out and bring it back to the store..I was like "eh, ok then. Thanks!" Well, we both know that if you take the applications home, most of the time they don't get taken back to the store, either you forget, or you just don't want to. LOL. Simple as that. I wasn't sure if I wanted to work yet, so I just took the app and was walking towards the door when the cashier yelled at me and was like "HEY!! Wait a minute!! Fill that out here!!"..I turned around, I had a ton of bags in my hand and was like "Did you say fill that out here? Im not even sure if I can work yet! My husband and I are going through some transitions right now, and I'm in school, and we are going to Texas for a week"..she looked at me and was like "We want you to work for us, go ahead and fill this out and we will get you an interview set up for the Friday you get back from Texas!" As I was in awe, filling out the application, I was just simply marveled on how God is so good! What the funny thing is, I REALLY need a job!! I just get so tired of job hunting that it becomes a chore!!

The point is that, I went for the interview yesterday, and I think it went super well! She told me that I was highly recommended (I have no idea how, I know no one here)..and I am a pretty special person considering they don't usually hire around this time of year. So as I am walking out of the store, she told me to be expecting a call back either Monday or Tuesday to figure out a schedule, and hopefully start working. OMGsh!! Can you believe I will hopefully be working at B&BW!! Holy moly!! That is a really exciting thing for me right now!! LOL. I don't get out much, and to think I will be in a place that I LOVE, I will be earning money too!! YAY!! So that is my Bath & Body Works adventure! Thank you for reading, and I hope you all have a great day!

P.S: I will be changing my posts from being done daily to weekly. I will probably choose a  weekend day to post about the week, and current events of interests! Once again, I hope you all have a wonderful day, and a Happy Holiday!! Be careful on Black Friday! Those women that get out there are NUTS!!! HAHAHA!

Taking a trip

Wow, how good if feels to be back home here in Colorado!! My husband and I went on a little trip to Texas for a few days. We drove more days than we visited!! That was the only bad part! But all in all, it was a wonderful visit!

Let me tell you about our visit! On the trip down it was pretty usual driving, LOL. Nothing new there. It was soooo long it felt like! I was like "Baby are we there yet? Can we please stop at a hotel, PLEASE!?
His answer was no, as I thought it would be! Haha. Well at about I would say 12AM on Friday morning, my husband finally told me we could stop and get some food, and settle in for the night at some hotel close by in Amarillo. Well let me tell you, boy what a mistake that was!! The Taco Bell we stopped at was raving on and on about how sanitary they are with there food and restaurant, and how the really good hotels were down the way some. We drove and drove, and was like "FINE! There is nothing down here so lets just stop here!" Hmmmm, I was kicking myself in the rear here! The MOTEL we stopped at was so disgusting! We felt so dirty when we got in our room. Little did we know it would cost us around $85 for a crappy room, that stunk and was smaller than a room in our house!! Now I'm not trying to say I am too good for a motel, but when you are paying that much money to stay in a Howard Johnson, you are expecting it to be nice. Nuh uh. This was seriously the worst night my husband and I had in a long time! To top it all off, the Taco Bell we ate at, let's just say we dont know which part they were sanitary about because the only thing my husband and I could do was hang out by the toilet till we eventually passed out for being so darn tired! Enough about this night, moving on!

So the next morning leaving the nasty, horrific motel, I go to turn in our keys. I didnt have to use the restroom when I was packing our things, but I somehow got a full bladder by the time we reached the front desk, well in motels they lock the front door and have a little window for you to drop your crap off in. The night auditor was sitting there at the computer, and I begged her to let me in to use the restroom, you shouldve seen the way this lady looked at me after she tried to give me back my keys to use the bathroom in my old motel room!! I was like "ma'am its just for a min, I dont want to have to go all the way back to my room and we have to get on the road..my husband is already upset at me, PLEASE let me use the restroom!"...She was like "I'm sorry the office dosent open up for another 15 minutes.." Ok...I know it may be a bad neighborhood and all, but I seriously had to go!!!! The lady thought I was going to rob her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not over exaggerating!! The look she gave me said it all!! When she just kept looking at me, I was like "fine, fine..I understand..Have a great day!"...Gosh I was soooo ticked off beyond words! LOL. I mean I know why she would, but I mean come on..I didnt have a purse on me, it was in the truck..All I had were the keys to the room and I gave them to her..she couldve just taken a look at me and let me in!! BUUUUT she didnt. So moving on shall we!

We finally got to Texas, like 10 hours later. Wow, was it a long drive. As soon as we got there we got to go to our old house and clean it up, didn't really do much tho. We got to actually visit with my mom and my husbands grandparents and mother for a while! That was super nice! Later that night, we got some margaritas and mexican food with a good gal pal!! It was so much fun! We went home after the margaritas and just crashed!! Gosh it felt so good to be in bed!

Saturday we got up and went to my moms house for her little Thanksgiving dinner she was throwing for my husband and I since we wouldn't be there for the actual day. OMGsh!! We had sooooo much fun!! I got to play with my nephews and my niece.

Everyone that I wanted to show up, came. Except for my brother, but I understand that he made plans before we knew we were getting to come down. Maybe we will see him next time. I am still in shock by how much fun we had that day. I never ever thought it would go so great! Then that night we went to see the same gal pal and my husbands friend that lives with her! That was also fun until he got called into work, so we just hung out and drank a couple drinks, then went home to grannys.

Sunday was mainly a blur. No lie. Hate to say it like that, but it was. At least for me. My husband and I got to cleaning early that morning on our old house, that sucked so bad!! Our allergies were going crazy! So we didn't stay long to say the least. We got to go back to Granny's house and eat some AWESOME southern food that I dont really fix anymore because of my hubby and I wanting to slim down some. After we ate, my husband and I were just so exhausted!! Gosh we were doing nothing but going and going and going and going like the Energizer bunny!! We felt so horrible for taking a nap while everyone was still visiting. We didnt wake up until 4 hours later and went to visit his mom since we didnt visit with her much. We still feel horrible for not really spending much time down there.

Monday morning we left to come back to our wonderful, cold state of Colorado. We were so excited since the entire time we were down there we did nothing but mostly eat and stay busy! Mostly eat tho, which showed this morning when at the HOTEL (hahhahahaha), my jeans didn't even fit hardly!! I was like "OMGSH!! HONEY!!! We have a major problem!! My jeans don't fit me!!"..He just simply asked the same question men usually do when you have a problem on your mind, "what do you want me to do about it?"  Well for starters you can stop being so hateful and bring me my yoga pants for crying out loud!!!!!! Lol. So depressing. Any-who, to make the rest of the trip short, my husband actually likes my girly mystery novels by Elaine Viets. So I read to him almost the entire way home. It actually made the trip go by so much sooner!

Needless to say, we arrived safely to our destination, and boy were we happy to see that sign! Lol. We were sad to leave our family but happy to be coming back to the wonderful thin air of Colorado. Our dream location. And boy is it! We come back to a wonderful 32 degree fall day. All we can say is Thank you Lord for getting us home safely! I hope you enjoyed this blog, even tho it doesn't really say anything too interesting. Just a piece of my ordinary but extraordinary life! Have a great night all!!

Sorry Bout the little break!

So sorry that I have taken a little break from you guys! Things have been hectic around my house lately!! We are actually excited to say that we get to go home to visit! Excited to see the fam, yet wondering if everything is gonna go the way we hope it will. But lets get down to business shall we!

So this morning while I was on Facebook, I actually seen one of my friends post about Mariah Carey's comment towards Kim Kardashian. Since I have already written a blog on Kim Kardashian, I figured it was only appropriate to tell you the update that I seen!

So Mariah Carey has made an extremely well comeback since having her twins! She looks absolutely beautiful! I have always idolized that woman since I was a child. Her voice is amazing, and she is so beautiful, and is married to one of the nicer looking black men of today, also her twins are adorable!
So she was in an interview with Gayle King. Below I am going to paste the interview, I will reference it to the bottom of my blog so no drama gets started.

"...In a recent interview for her new gig as  Jenny Craig spokeswoman, Mariah, discussed with the audience her marriage to Nick Cannon, her husband and baby daddy to six-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. ”I’m a real person, I’m not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood,” Carey, 42, said.

And suddenly, rainbows and angels:
Sometimes we make each other mad, and that’s why we aren’t divorced after four months,” she cracked, as the audience, according to Us Weekly, “audibly gasped.”
… I’m just saying.”  [Emphasis added.  Enthusiastically.]
*snickering*

She was, of course, referencing Kim Kardashian, 31, who recently “filed for divorce” October 31 after just 72 days of her committed, sacred marriage to whatever his name is, and that makes me punch my tiny Kristen Wiig doll-fists in the air with great excitement and joy."

So  my friends, I dont know what you thought about that, but I laughed hysterically!!! I thinks Mariah Carey is right. Lol. Marriage isn't a joke, and so many people make it seem that way! Sure I get mad at my husband also, but you just dont file for divorce because of a disagreement!!! That is so nuts!!

ANYWAYS!!! On to bigger and better things.

Did anyone see the article on Caylee Anthony? There was a new article out this morning about that as well. Caylee Anthony's grandfather stated that Caylee had been overdosed on drugs. He stated that someone that Casey had been with or was with them at the time, overdosed her 2 year old little girl on drugs. I mean come on, they should've found her guilty in the first place, I mean hellooo, its obvious!! And not to mention, now she is in hiding because everyone else knows she is guilty, and they are trying to kill her!! Doesn't surprise me any!! You can read the full article below.

Well ladies & gents, I may not be able to write for a few days, but when I get back I will let you know how everything went!! Enough for now!! You all take care and God bless!! :)

Why did I get married?

So right now at the moment I am watching/listening to "Why did I get married"..and as everything that I do gets me to thinking..

One of my favorite characters in this movie is Shelia (Jill Scott). If you have never seen this movie, The third couple is overweight Shelia (Jill Scott) and over-Shelia Mike (Richard T. Jones). Shelia is made to deplane because of her weight and the requirement to purchase two seats and drive the long distance in the snow, while her husband Mike continues on the flight with Shelia's single friend, Trina (Denise Boutte). When Mike arrives without Shelia, the other wives berate him and Trina for having left Shelia to drive alone. Shelia's husband shows clearly that he does not care for his wife at all. Her friends try to reach Shelia by phone but get her voice mail only. Shelia is persistent to get to the retreat because she wants to make her marriage work. Providence leads her to Sheriff Troy Jackson's (Lamman Rucker) office. Due to weather the roads have been closed for the night and she has no choice but to spend the night. That same night, Mike tiptoes, not unseen by Angela, to Trina's bedroom. Shelia arrives at the retreat house the following morning with Troy in tow. She introduces Troy to the others and tells them she has invited him to breakfast.
Troy fast becomes a threat to Shelia's husband Mike, not because of Shelia, but because of Trina, with whom he is having an affair. The secrets that come out in their heated discussions lead the couples toward a path where they can either choose to reconcile or to separate, and the latter is what happens to Shelia and Mike. Mike makes it clear he is not attracted to his wife any longer and when it is revealed he is being unfaithful, he simply tells her he wants a divorce. The vacation is cut short when all the secrets come to light, as the couples suddenly decide they cannot stay in the house any longer. Shelia checks into a local hotel to recover from the shock of her divorce and the realization that Mike has drained her bank account. She is in a depressed state when Troy goes to visit her. He takes her up to a mountain where she cries and mourns the loss of her love and the only life she knew. In the mountains, Shelia is settling into a new life working for Troy in the general store his father owned and getting to know Troy and realizing her own self-worth. The two of them bond. The couples eventually reconcile and all the couples converge on the gala celebration for an award that Patricia has received for her work. Dianne, Patricia and Angela are shocked when Shelia introduces Troy as her husband. Ex-husband Mike, although he is still with Trina, is very jealous of Shelia's newfound bliss and tries to weasel his way back into her good graces, but she tells him to go enjoy Trina.

So that brings me to the point, the whole time I watched the movie the first time, I cried like a baby. Like someone just stole my binkie and wont give it back. The reason I was crying is, EVERY oversized woman feels the same way Shelia does. Now, they dont want to admit it, and some are just getting over the hurt. Some lose the weight, some just choose to be a spokesperson and make a difference. I, on the other hand, I exercise. I am an oversize woman like many women here in the US. I have been overweight since I was at least 10 years old. First it was the meds I was taking at that age, then it was just a comfort. Food was a comfort. I also felt, and still sometimes feel the way Shelia does in this movie. Now,  I know the looks I get for being heavy, I dont like them..but I tell myself, "who are they to judge me."

Well, when my husband was deployed, I lost SOOOOO much weight! I went from a size 26 to a size 18!! Yes it is true!! I was working, I went to the gym every morning, I didnt really eat right cuz I was always on the go, and didnt have a reason to. I didnt take weight management pills at all! It was all me. Smoking, working, tanning, and exercising. When my husband came home from deployment, I gained so much weight. Gosh it's like I blew up in the matter of 5 months, I was back in my 22's..I didnt gain it all back, but Im not comfortable being in a size 22! Then at the middle of 2011, I was in my 24's..And my husband was even gaining weight! The whole time I was gaining, my husband was gaining. He gained 30lbs! I felt so bad, looking the way I did, couldnt even imagine him...Im like a yoyo. So when we moved to Colorado a few months ago, I told myself I would get off my butt and exercise again, and try to eat right. Well, I have went down one pant size, which would make me a 22 now. BUT, I am happy to say that day by day I feel better, lighter, and fuller. I dont have to drink a soda everyday, I dont have to eat 3 huge meals, I just live to live. Food dosent control me anymore. It feels great! I let God control me, and let him show me the path I need to go, for the most part. I do still make mistakes, I'm only human.

As for my husband, well..I am so happy to say that he went from a 46 size pant size to a 40!!!! I'm so proud of him!! He is losing it much much faster because he has a VERY physical job, and he dosent really take big meals to work with him.

Needless to say, we are happy to be here. Happy to be alive. Happy to be able to wake up and do things. So happy that we aren't so overweight that we just lay in bed because it hurts to do anything else. We intend to keep doing better for ourselves, and living everyday the way we should. I hope everyone who reads not only learns something, but also takes in the proof that the things you say or do to someone who doesn't look the same as you, it hurts them. It isn't your place to judge that person, because you don't know the things they go through in their life. Just take my advice.
